Coupled Flow Simulation

This is a scenario involving a dam break in the Teton Dam inundating an area around a fictitious nuclear power plant.

The Nuclear Power Plant is modeled in 3D and the Red areas are historical data of the flood. However we exagerated the breach amount to make it more dramatic showcasing the coupling.

The scene is modeled in three stages. 2D simulation using GeoClaw and inserting measuring gauges along the 3D domain to provide inflow to the 3D domain.

A Multiscale Simulation of a coupled flow between Shallow Water Solver (GeoClaw) setting the input boundary conditions and thereby resulting in room flooding.
